U.K. manufactured woven and braided insertion piping

Insertion piping is a narrow fabric trimming which has a bead, which is used to embellish a garment and a foot, which is used to sew the product into place

Braided piping has the benefit of being quite a flexible product which is useful for sewing into a curve. however variations in size of the bead and width of the foot are restricted. Braided insertion can be produced from polyester, viscose and metallic yarns. Production lead times are typically 1-2 weeks and require a minimum order of 500 metres.

We usuallyhavey some stocks in the shelf of the standard insertion pipings in popular colours, these can be bought by the reel.

Woven piping has a more options on size as the bead can be made bigger or smaller and can be on one side or both sides of the product. The width of foot can be modified. Woven piping is usually made using polyester yarns from our standard colour range.
