These stock yarn colours are produced under ISO 9002 control. Polypropylene has a very low moisture absorbancy compared to polyester or nylon, making it suitable for outdoor applications, as it will not "get wet". The colour of this yarn is introduced when the polypropylene is made, this means the colour has a high resistance to fading, on the other hand it is not possible to dye this yarn type to special shades. Polypropylene yarn has a relatively low abrasion resistance, so is not recommended for use where a high degree of friction or rubbing would occur on the end product.
Colours marked with a green dot are usually readily available, other colours may require a larger minimum order requirement in order to procure the required shade.
